About Us

Hello! Thank you for visiting! It is my greatest privilage to be the one to follow your family during some of your happiest life moments and milestones. I truly think of so many of my clients as friends, because of the joy it brings me spending time with them and their family and documenting their life. The session will be relaxed and we will have lots of fun together!  But with 18 years of experience, you can have confidence that I will have you looking your best and always deliver exceptional images. Please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself, and hopefully I can get to know you soon too!

I grew up in NW Illinois but my home for the past 20+ years has been in Sioux Falls, SD with my husband.  We have three children that are each our greatest blessings and sources of pride, but of course with a side of chaos! I'm also a huge animal lover! Currently we have two dogs, two cats and a tank of fish (who's numbers fluctuate...no matter how hard I try!)  I always have music or an audio book playing. I also often enjoy traveling and hunting for antique or vintage treasures. I love Jesus and try my best to love others and spread joy. In my free time in enjoy decorating, remodeling and landscaping our home, being outdoors, going to our kids activities and hanging out with our friends. 

A photographer passed in Sioux Falls, SD, but I also travel all over the midwest and beyond to shoot. It is wonderful to have a beautiful studio available, however, my favorite way to shoot is using natural light on location.  I most often shoot in urban or country settings and utilize many of the beautiful parks in Sioux Falls.  I have found my favorite nooks and crannies, wide open spaces and bends in the path, for every season and weather situation. Being willing and able to photograph pretty much anywhere allows me to get unique and individualized shots for each person that I have the pleasure to photograph. Our studio goal is to create artwork for your home and heirlooms for your family. I want your images to bring a smile to your face and a tug at your heart every time you look at them.
